Down to Earth Alfalfa Meal (2.5-0.5-2.5) is a rose gardener’s best-kept secret. This all-natural organic accelerant encourages rapid growth, and plant development is a valuable supplement for other vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

Sourced from non-GMO sun-cured alfalfa, these plant-based nutrients were milled at peak freshness to capture a rich nutrient profile. Down to Earth Alfalfa Meal is highly recommended for soil-based gardens and containers.

Directions:

New Gardens: Apply 5 to 10 lbs per 100 sq. ft of garden space.
Trees and Shrubs: Mix 1 to 2 cups into transplant holes for new trees. Apply 1 lb per 2 inches of trunk diameter around the drip line for established trees. Mix into soil and water.
Containers: Add up to 2 to 4 tbsp per gallon of soil for new containers. For established containers, feed monthly with 1 to 2 tbsp per gallon.
Roses: For new roses, add ½ cup to 1 cup per hole. Mix into soil and water. For established roses, apply ½ cup to 1 cup in early Spring. Mix into soil and water.
